We like to believe that Kendall Jenner’s heart is in the right place

But man, this girl is 100 percent incapable of going six months without pissing off a sizable segment of her fan base.

It all started with the now-infamous Kendall Jenner Pepsi commercial back in 2017.

Since then it’s been one f–k up after another.

Whether it’s Kendall wearing shirts with Biggie and Tupac on them or otherwise just making it clear that she has not terribly sensitive to matters of cultural appropriation, the 23-year-old just keeps stepping in it big time.

And it’s not like Kendall is some Dave Chappelle type, out there pushing the envelope in the name of art and free expression; she just tends to not fully think things through …

Take the latest kerfuffle surrounding Kendall’s hairstyle, for example.

Kendall has worn cornrows in the past, as have pretty much all of her sisters.

(Kourtney may be the only one to not fall victim to that particular Kar-Jenner claim, but we’d have to pore through the archives to confirm.)

Each time, they’ve taken flak, as the hairstyle is customarily associated with African-American culture, and the Kards, as much as they might like to think otherwise, are as white as Mitt Romney playing croquet on Martha’s Vineyard.

Add to that the annoying "gangsta" pose that Kendall is rocking here, and it’s not hard to see why many Twitter users felt the runway-walker was in need of a roasting.

“I’m EXHAUSTED of white people constantly appropriating black culture and wearing hairstyles that we are always ridiculed/ chastised for having and just doing it because they want to ‘look different’ or ‘stand out,’ ” wrote one user.

“We wear these hairstyles to PROTECT our natural hair from damages but they wanna wear it because it looks cool. It shouldn’t be worn by them period.”

“Yet another time that Kendall Jenner has appropriated black culture,” said one user.

“These white women no longer have to think for themselves. They just exploit and steal from black women but are the ones who are praised for it.”

“Can she come up with something else???” someone wrote. “This act is getting redundant now.”

Now, the debate over cultural appropriation is a complicated one, and there’s a considerable amount of disagreement over where the line should be drawn.

But you’d think after spending her entire freakin’ life in the spotlight, Kendall would have a better sense of how to avoid a pointless scandal.

Again, do we think Kendall Jenner is some sort of horrendous bigot? No.

But considering she’s dedicated her adult life to making a career in the fashion world, you would think she’d devote a little time to thinking about her style choices.
