90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? has followed Jay and Ashley’s troubled marriage.
Contrary to what viewers may expect, the two reconciled in January — not two weeks after Ashley filed for divorce.
But then, in April, they broke up again.
This time, the contentious divorce is for keeps, and there’s a lot of resentment on both sides.
Unfortunately, just a few weeks ago, that anger boiled over into an explosion.
Ashley threw a fire extinguisher through Jay’s window. Yikes.
She’s not the only one in trouble, as she says that his days in the US are numbered. Take a look:
Ashley confesses
“Yes,” she confirms. “I threw a f–king fire extinguisher through his window.”
Sorry, let’s backtrack for a moment

Yes, she’s been charged
Ashley was charged with Simple Assault and Criminal Mischief (intentionally damaging real or personal property of another). But … what exactly happened?
Here’s what Jay has to say
According to Jay, he “was chilling with his friends and two girls was over.”
This is when someone knocked at the door
Jay went to see who it was, but “someone had their hands over the pee hole – she got her hands over the pee hole.” For the record, that little hole in doors that lets you see out is usually called a PEEP hole. A pee hole is … something different. If you want to press it to your eye, that’s your business.
Jay obviously didn’t answer the door
Jay didn’t answer because he’s a young person and wasn’t expecting anyone. Millennials and Gen Z text or DM when they arrive, instead of just opening the door to anyone. This sometimes shocks some older generations even though that same willingness to open the door at random is probably why there were so many serial killers in the 1970s.
Then, in Jay’s words
He describes how a “fire extinguisher f–king smashed through my window and f–king hit my friend in the head.” He says the the culprit was no mystery. Jay declares: “it was f–king Ashley.”
Ashley admits to it
She colorfully adds that Jay “can go s–k my d–k.” She proceeds to call Jay a “bitch.” Isn’t love a beautiful thing?
So, according to Ashley …
The whole reason that she had gone over there in the first place was because Jay had invited her over for a hookup. Which means that, a month and a half after their split, she was willing to slip it to him. Oh no, Ashley.
Jay disagrees
His version of events is that she dropped by randomly. Is there a chance that he thirstily texted to invite her over, but then managed to wrangle a couple of girls and forgot all about inviting Ashley? Or is she just confused? Either way … this is not great.
Ashley was under the influence
“Yes,” she confirms. “I had been drinking.” Well, let those of us who have never answered a booty call from an ex while drinking throw the first stone, we suppose.
She says that Jay knew just who was outside
“Jay, your wife is at the door,” she recalls hearing someone inside say. She says that Jay then said: “f–k that ho,” followed by the sounds of various girls giggling.
That is what set her off
“I took the fire extinguisher off the wall and smashed it” into the window, Ashley confesses.

Jay recorded a bit of the damage — mostly just wrecked blinds. That … is not something that should happen.
The action was not without consequences.
“Jay called the police on me,” Ashley adds. “And I got charged”
She says that there’s a lot more to their story
They have had a number of disputes, including over a safe that contained some important documents — and Ashley’s gun.
And another issue …
Apparently, Jay “borrowed” Ashley’s son’s Playstation and there was some sort of issue when Ashley went to get it back. (That sounds wildly uncool — a tug-of-war between exes should never include a child’s property, though it so often does)
Jay says that Ashley is lying about things
He says that he’s not going to share his version of events about Ashley only because “her kids are on social media and I don’t want to hurt their feelings.”
He doubles down
Jay also claimed that Ashley’s two kids “are the only reason I’m taking all the blame, and she f–king knows that.”
That sounds very noble
That also sounds preposterous from the guy who banged some random girl in a barbershop bathroom just because he had the chance to.
Apparently, there were other troubles
The live interviews revealed that police had been called multiple times during and after their troubled relationship.
Ashley ALSO says that Jay will be deported
His alleged deportation date will be August 7, 2019.
Unless …
Ashley predicts that Jay may just end up running. She says that officials know where he lives and works, and vows that if they come looking for him at her home, she’ll tell them whatever she knows.
So it sounds like things were never squared away
Jay was supposed to have a deportation hearing of some kind in early May, but did a photoshoot with Ashley that day instead. Ashley said that his issue was handled out of court. Handled … but apparently not resolved in a way that Jay found favorable.
Yikes to … all of this
Ashley and Jay’s broken marriage is basically a how-two guide on how to not behave. Don’t cheat, don’t steal, and don’t yeet fire extinguishers.
