Anna Duggar has faced judgment from the online community for years, dating back to when her husband was exposed as a child molestor and then a cheater and yet the mother of many chose to stay with him nevertheless.
For a change, however, this post actually isn't about Anna's decision to remain married to Josh.
But it is about Anna once again getting dragged by strangers online.
Anna, you see, is pregnant with baby number-six.
Several days ago, she teased more Duggar babies possibly being on the way when she shared a throwback photo of when she was expecting son Mason -- and Jill and Joy-Anna Duggar were also pregnant.
"Throwback to when Jill, Joy & I were pregnant together!" she wrote as a caption to the image below, adding:
"Currently, there are 4 Duggar sisters/sisters-in-law that have shared expectant baby news!
"I wonder how many more new cousins will be announced before our little one arrives?!?"
It is true that four Duggar women are knocked up at the moment:
Anna, Jessa, Amy and Kendra.
But it's also true that Lauren Duggar (nee Swanson) opened up recently about a miscarriage she suffered last year, prompting many Internet users to accuse Anna of being wildly insensitive.
Should she really be so outwardly excited about her pregnancy, and talking about others to come, when Lauren is still recovering from a personal tragedy?
Heck no, many people are saying on social media.
Numerous critics have suggested that Anna's post was "adding salt in the wound" of Lauren, with one individual expounding as follows:
"I feel exactly the same. My heart breaks for them. It's not enough t hat t hey had the miscarriage but now all these pregnancies on top of it! Definitely insensitive and definitely salt in the wound. They should have [abstained] out of respect."
"I keep thinking of [Josiah] and Lauren with all of these pregnancy announcements. Praying they see God's goodness even in the difficult days of seeing others get pregnant and having babies."
We agree... to some extent.
We can't imagine what Lauren must be going through and everyone close to her should be as sensitive as possible.
But it's also a fine line.
Should they not announce their own pregnancies? Should they not be excited about them?
Overall, this really doesn't feel like anyone's business but Lauren and Josiah, neither of whom have expressed any issue with what Anna or any of their loved ones have said of late regarding their pregnancies.
“I just want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers, support, and for all you Mama’s out there for sharing your angel baby stories,” Lauren said in late March after sharing her miscarriage news with the world.
She concluded at the time:
"It’s easy to share those happy times in our lives, but sharing something hard, like losing a baby can be like putting salt to a wound.
"I know by y’all sharing your stories it has not only helped me, but many other women who have gone through the same trials."
