Before he settled down and married Meghan Markle, Prince Harry had a reputation as a hard-partying ladies man.
For the most part, everyone seems to agree that Meghan's presence in Harry's life has led to some considerable improvements in his character and public persona.
But believe it or not, there's a handful of contrarians who feel differently.
For example, Piers Morgan thinks Meghan "ruined" Harry by ... accepting his proposal and carrying his child?
It doesn't make much sense, but it's times like this that it helps to remember Piers might be in love with Meghan.
Anyway, we expect that sort of nonsense from the British equivalent of Alex Jones, but it's somewhat surprising when that kind of shade comes from Harry's inner circle.
Yes, according to a new report from British tabloid The Sun, Harry was recently forced to cut ties with longtime bestie Tom "Skippy" Inskip due to his continued criticism of Meghan.
“Like several others who were considered a questionable influence on Harry during his bad old bachelor days, Tom has been dropped, even though he himself now has a lovely wife, Lara," a source tells The Sun.
"It's all part of Meghan's quiet airbrushing out of Harry's old posse," the insider added.
"She doesn't want temptation – of any sort – being put in his way while they concentrate on starting a family."
Interestingly, a trip to Jamaica for Inskip's wedding in March of 2017 was Meghan and Harry's first public vacation together.
According to The Tatler, the move has been a long time coming.
An insider says Tom "advised Harry not to marry Meghan" and now, as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex prepare to welcome their first child, Inskip "has paid the price: banishment.”
It's not clear why the move took so long, but it seems that it was a long time coming.
Inskip was present for some of Harry's most infamous moments, including the famous naked billiards game that Piers so fondly recalled in his recent ode to Harry's wilder days.
Many have speculated that Meghan is cleaning house, either in preparation for the fast-approaching arrival of her baby, or simply because she's sick of all the drama.
Yes, in case you haven't been keeping up, there's been a lot of turmoil in the Sussexes inner circle as of late.
Reports of a feud between Meghan and Kate Middleton have been circulating for months, and the situation recently got so dire that Kensington Palace was forced to issue a statement.
There have been numerous conflicting rumors about the cause of the spat, and several insiders have claimed that it's really a feud between Meghan and Prince William, stemming from Will's disapproval of his brother's marriage.
“William was quite concerned that the relationship had moved so quickly,” royal expert Kate Nicholl claims.
“And being close to Harry, you know, probably the only person close enough to say to Harry, ‘This seems to be moving quickly. Are you sure?’ And I think what was meant as well-intended brotherly advice just riled Harry.
“Harry is hugely protective of Meghan,” Nicholl adds.
“He saw that as criticism, he interpreted that as his brother not really being behind this marriage, this union. And I don’t think things have been quite right ever since.”
All of these developments have taken place amid rumors that William is having an affair with Kate's close friend Rose Hanbury.
It's a lot for Harry and Meghan to deal with, especially with a baby on the way.
Perhaps it's no surprise that Meg has started encouraging Harry to cut loose some of the dead weight in his life.
