Eva Marcille's wedding was the main attraction on Sunday's The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but that's not to say there was not some drama from the other ladies.
Even when they're supposed to be having fun, they're still scheming, so it makes sense that the episode was filled with twists and turns.
When Eva and Michael made it down the aisle, Nene Leakes was all over the place. She could not control her emotions as she attended the event with her her husband, Gregg Leakes, who has been fighting cancer.
Nene made her way out of the room where the nuptials were read and found herself in a bathroom. She needed some time away from the event.
"I wanted to leave, but Marlo kept saying to me, 'Don't leave because Eva wanted you to be here,'" NeNe dished.
Shamari DeVoe picked up on a tweet that Nene posted before the event.
"When people are sick, is it normal for them to be mean?" Nene tweeted, prompting Shamari to wonder whether there are issues with Nene and Gregg.
"Is it, like, causing issues between the marriage?" Shamari asked. while Nene responded with, "I would say yeah."
Shamari decided to bail on the conversation she started, and Nene turned to Cynthia Bailey with a shocking bombshell:
Nene and Gregg were discussing the possibility of separation before the wedding.
"It's been a really rough day with Gregg and with me," NeNe said.
"When Eva said her vows, it reminded me of when we were saying our vows."
"Right before I came here, he talked about separating," Nene dished.
Cynthia was stunned, and replied, "Hold on, now. You guys are already in separate rooms. You're talking about separate houses?"
"Yeah," NeNe replied, adding that things were much worse than anybody knew.
"He said he would go ahead and find him a place. Last night, I felt like I broke because he is so mean. I get that it's a sickness, but I can't be talked to like that. It's weird because you're trying to help the sick person, but they don't want your help. And everybody around thinks I'm bad."
Cynthia wanted Nene to realize that Gregg's mood would change when he felt better, but Nene was not ready to entertain that possibility.
"Gregg lets me take the rap for a lot of things that he's done," NeNe later confessed.
"People generally point the finger at me, and he just kind of like sits and lets me take that rap, when he knows that it's not that way at all."
Before Nene could dish more goodies, Marlo said that Kandi and Porsha were ready to chat about Nene's meltdown in her home which resulted in a cameraman with a ripped T-shirt.
Thankfully, the ladies managed to stop the arguing and put that incident behind them.
Nene was then put on the spot to make her speech, and everyone seemed surprised by how beautiful it was.
"To the bride and groom," she began.
"May you live each day like it's your first, and each night like it's your last. Never go to bed angry. Stay up and fight all night. The secret to a happy marriage remains a secret, but to me, I believe that respect and communication is the key to a happy marriage."
"Eva and Michael, I wish you all the best," she added. "Congratulations. We love you. If you guys could please raise your glasses, and let's toast to love wins."
