The prison updates just keep pouring in for Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino.
But honestly, we're here for them because only the Sitch could make prison sound somehow entertaining.
It's been over two months since the Jersey Shore star reported to an eight-month sentence behind bars for tax fraud charges.
Of course, he is keeping himself busy by working out and watching a lot of TV, but a close insider told Radar Online that he is also occupying his long days by writing a tell-all book.
"Mike has been keeping an extensive diary, and has been writing about his experiences every day," said the source close to the 36-year-old.
Mike is keeping notes, journaling if you will, with the intent for someone else to piece the book together, as his expertise remains in the gym and not on paper.
"He is just taking notes in his diary for someone else to write it," the source added.
And while most people are expecting the TV personality to share some dark or depressing secrets, it sounds as though Sorrentino's experience really isn't half bad.
In fact, it doesn't sound that bad at all, and we expect the tell-all to be more about how he spent his days lounging around rather than about how he worked hard to survive the tough circumstances.
"Mike says he is being treated like a king in there and that he is actually having a good time," the source said.
"Mike can make a good situation out of anything. So it's not super shocking."
And while his time behind bars may not be his ideal lifestyle, it doesn't sound too shabby for the time being.
All of his co-star besties from Jersey Shore often pay him visits, as well as his new wife, Lauren Pesce.
Lauren and Mike married a few months before he had to report to jail, but their emotional fairytale wedding was everything they dreamed of and more.
According to The Blast, the Bureau of Federal Prisons announced that Sorrentino's official release date will be on September 13, 2019.
And while he still has a long way to go, he seems pretty content with his current living conditions behind bars.
His wife shared a message with fans saying he was doing well and was grateful to his fans for all of their support.
"Hi everyone, it's Lauren," her message began. "Mike would like to thank all of his fans worldwide for the unbelievable outpouring of love & support."
"We speak everyday & he's doing great."
"He's received thousands of letters, he won't be able to respond to everyone but wanted to express his gratitude to each and everyone of you," the 34-year-old wrote in a series of tweets.
"Thank you from the both of us; it is truly heartwarming to have this support during this time. Lots of love, Michael & Lauren Sorrentino."
Mike and his brother Marc were both indicted for tax evasion in 2014 for a reported $8.9 million in unpaid income.
In January of 2018, Sorrentino pleaded guilty and was sentenced in October to eight months at Otisville FCI Federal Correctional Institution in New York.
Following his lock-up, Mike will continue to be on two years of supervised probation.
But If the Sitch continues to keep up his good behavior he will be seeing the light of day come this fall.
And hopefully, his tell-all prison book will be reaching the best-sellers list by then, showing people all around the world that prison, well ... wasn't even that hard.
