Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were sighted together for the first time since their split in September 2016.

The actors were photographed together in Beverly Hills on January 30, and it wasn’t an “it’s great to see you” photo.

But rather a shot of the Mr. & Mrs. Smith costars meeting up for a three-hour discussion involving the custody of their six kids, according to Hollywood Life.

Not very glamorous, but understandably important.

Angelina filed for divorce from Pitt after two years of marriage and a total of 12 years together.

According to US Weekly, “the estranged couples been locked in a bitter battle over custody of their six children: Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10.”

The photos obtained by WHO magazine this week shared the exes talking in a meeting room while accompanied by their legal representatives.

And just as we would have imagined, things got a bit heated between the two,” claims The Blast.

And unfortunately not in a sexual way.

Brad reportedly was “pacing back and forth outside the office, while Angelina was visibly upset.”

The site does confirm that “the tense” meeting was meant to settle out details over their custody agreement.

While the pair has a temporary agreement set in place for their children, they’re looking for a permanent solution.

For more than a year after the split, Angelina had full custody of the kids.

But, in the summer of 2018, a judge ordered Brad to spend more time with his children, claiming that it would be “harmful” for them to not see their dad.

In the meantime, an agreement was made for the kids, though child support was still an issue.

Angelina claimed that Brad “had paid no meaningful child support,” says Hollywood Life.

In return, Brad fired back insisting he loaned her $8 million for a new home and $1.3 million for the kids.

Sounds meaningful enough to me?

To avoid having to go to court with their case, the pair signed their new temporary agreement in the fall of 2018.

Which stated that both parents get joint physical and legal custody of their children.

“All Brad wants is to be a present dad and co-parent with Angelina,” a source told US.

And now that the Oscar winners are finally on face-to-face talking terms hopefully “that is enabling the process to move forward in a much more thoughtful and peaceful manner.”

Just a little delayed, but sounds as though things may be looking up for the Jolie-Pitt clan.
