Leaving home is no easy task.
That's what Cynthia Bailey's daughter, Noelle realized on Sunday's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
"I just can't do it!" the 19-year-old sobbed during a farewell party that was thrown for her.
Cynthia went on to send the guests home to comfort her daughter who was clearly going through a difficult time.
"She's not good," Cynthia admitted to her family.
"Do I force her to go [to college]? I mean the child is laying in the fetal position, crying," Cynthia said to audiences. 'I'm really trying to keep it together, but for the first time in my life, I don't know how to fix this.'
She gushed at her daughter's acceptance to Howard University – calling it "one of the most prestigious black colleges in the United States" – and admitted that it would be 'the first thing she's done without me."
"We are super dependent upon each other," Cynthia admitted.
NeNe Leakes was on hand to give Cynthia some words of wisdom during this difficult time.
"Cynthia, now listen: She has got to go," NeNe insisted.
"Really, when she gets there she's probably gonna say to herself, 'Why was I doing that?' She will not want to come back home because she's gonna be meeting so many people from around the world, which is really good for her."
"She's gotta go," Cynthia ultimately agreed.
'"I feel like I would be doing not only myself but her a disservice by not pushing her to find her own way," she later added.
In a truly heartwarming moment, Cynthia helped Noelle decorate her room at college, and the teen seemed to have turned a corner.
However, she worried about returning to her own home after a meal with her parents. There was more back and forth, but Cynthia managed to get her to take the Uber and start her new life.
"It's always been Noelle and I for as long as I can remember," Cynthia said in a confessional.
"I've been thinking about this day for a long time, and now that it's actually here I'm excited and scared and mortified and nervous. All at the same time. 'But I do know as Noelle's mom I have to let her go. I have to let her find her way."
Elsewhere, Porsha Williams was happy to finally get to see her little bundle of joy thanks to a sonogram.
"Seeing the sonogram of the baby is – I can't even explain," she said. "It's like, 'is this baby really growing inside of me?'"
Despite her happiness at the sonogram, Porsha was upset because she learned she would need to deliver her child via c-section.
Wiliams was previously open about wanting a water birth at home to welcome her child into the world, but that was not a possibility.
Meanwhile, Gregg Leakes gathered his sons to urge them to have colonoscopies following his battle with colon cancer.
"As you know, I was diagnosed with colon cancer, but I've been totally healed by God. One hundred percent," he told his the boys.
"The biggest misconception that I had is that it's the glove and it's the bend-over. Which is a way to check a particular cancer, but not colon," he later added.
"Gregg not doing chemo is fine with me. He has to make his own decision, and as his wife, I want to support whatever decision he makes," NeNe added.
"So if Gregg doesn't want to do chemo, honey I don't want to do chemo."
Later, NeNe and Eva Marcille went out to have a look at wedding dresses, and Marlo Hampton was al about being rude.
"I need one little small request – I just want 10 pounds off," Marlo said to Eva when she tried a dress on.
"B***h you need to f***ing stop, b***h, with your big, ginormous a**! NeNe screamed at her friend.
"NeNe is my girl, and I appreciate her having my back," Eva said to the camera. "So thank you NeNe for coming to my defense and reminding Marlo the circumference of her a** is huge."
