With the dust still settling from a bombshell season finale, and new rumors arising daily, the Teen Mom 2 cast reunited again on Monday.
Last week, certain cast members stormed off set, while others dropped some pretty big bombshells pertaining to their personal lives.
What did last night do for an encore?!
Picking up right where things left off, Briana DeJesus went off on her ex, Devon Austin, then revealed some details about Javi Marroquin.
Sitting down? It's about to get good.
“Javi and I and my family have a closer connection than Kail and I,” Briana said, calling the other Teen Mom 2 stars “salty” about this.
At least at the time of this taping, Briana insisted that she and Javi were just friends who have not hooked up ... and what if they did?!
“The other girls don’t want to be my friend,” Briana said, perhaps a little bit oblivious to the fact that her treatment of Kailyn is the reason.
Javi, for his part, admitted that he has had trouble moving on in further relationships because of the way everything ended with his wife.
He also admitted he’s uncomfortable with her friendships with other men, something you already know if you watch Teen Mom 2 online.
“There’s a lot of things that have to change."
Maintaining other successful relationships is difficult when they don't trust one another, he added, almost longing for the good old days.
“I will never be able to move on in a different relationship if that line is never crossed,” Javi said, though he denies he's still into Kailyn.
Lowry denied being attracted to Javi either, but their body language suggested differently ... and things only got more awkward thereafter.
Her original baby daddy, Jo Rivera came on to smooth things out between Kailyn and Javi, but ended up making a confession of his own.
Jo called himself “completely unbiased,” claiming “I’ve been there. I know how it is,” but then revealed he has jealousy issues as well.
“I don’t like seeing her with other men,” Jo said.
Speaking of potentially strong feelings between exes, Leah Messer's former husband Jeremy Calvert appeared at the reunion via video.
Even in that context, the sparks were there.
“Me and Leah have a very healthy relationship,” Jeremy said, adding that he was single after breaking up with his girlfriend and Leah knew this.
Jeremy said it was “f–king awkward” with Leah sometimes because of other men and women, and looked to change the subject ASAP.
Not the kind of thing you do if you're totally over someone, at least in our opinion. Is there hope for a Leah and Jeremy reunion yet?
Perhaps, and perhaps not. On a different and even heavier note, Chelsea Houska and Maci Bookout got a chance to bond on the set.
Maci is on Teen Mom OG, not Teen Mom 2, but their similar experiences with loved ones and addiction made for an interesting discussion.
They talked about the disease - that's what they consider it, not just another personal problem or failing - and how they've dealt with it.
“It’s scary,” Chelsea said, when asked about the chance that Aubree will find out about her father Adam Lind's well-publicized addiction.
Maci's former boyfriend Ryan Edwards married Mackenzie Standifer a second time last weekend after his well-documented addiction woes.
The two moms went talked about the stigma that goes along with addiction, which only makes those suffering from it feel more “isolated.”
It was a serious and somber topic, but seeing them bring awareness to such an issue they've both seen up close was quite commendable.
