Donald Trump has always been one of the most controversial celebrities out there.
His outlandish behavior has not exactly painted him in the best light, and despite him being elected as the 45th President of the United States, he still does not know when to shut his mouth.
Until now, it seems.
Stephen King has been vocal about how much he hates Trump, regularly spamming Twitter with comments about how he is not fit for the job of running the country, and while he may be right, Donald has essentially ignored him.
King took to Twitter to make a comment about Ivanka Trump on Monday, and it received a reaction from the POTUS.
Stephen tweeted, “If Ivanka Trump had grown up in farm country, like some of us, she’d know her father is reaping exactly what he sowed.” It was definitely one of the tamer burns celebrities have been sending towards the family, but good old Donald responded by blocking the author.
It's not like Donald to back away from a fight, but maybe he's decided to turn over a new leaf and actually look after the country, as opposed to hanging around Twitter looking for his next target.
"Trump has blocked me from reading his tweets," King shared with his 3.3 million followers, adding: " I may have to kill myself."
That was not his only tweet on the matter, however.
"Blocked! Condemned to an existential wasteland of Trumplessness!" It's hilarious that Trump is now just blocking celebrities who hate him. It's definitely a story for the grandchildren.
Can you imagine their faces when you tell them the President of the United States blocked you on social media? We're laughing her just thinking about it.
Another celebrity who has made her hate for Donald common knowledge is J.K. Rowling, and she had the perfect response to the news that King had been blocked.
“I still have access,” she wrote. “I’ll DM them to you.”
This was all in response to Stephen wondering where the heck he could lay eyes on Donald's tweets. Those writers sure stick together.
Earlier this year, one of Rowlings fans sent her a horrible tweet because she was vocal about not being a fan of Trump.
“@jk_rowling just burned all my Harry Potter books after being a fan for 17 years. I’m upset it has to be that way. You embarrassed me, disgusted me, and I will never read your work again #ThankyouFor17Years,” the Twitter user wrote.
“Guess it’s true what they say: you can lead a girl to books about the rise and fall of an autocrat,” Rowling fired back, “but you still can’t make her think.”
What do you think about all of this?
