Kailyn Lowry CONFIRMS Baby's Father After Taking DNA Test!!

Pregnant Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry keeps throwing fans one curveball after another as speculation mounts over her baby's paternity.

This time, the mother of sons Isaac (by Jo Rivera) and Lincoln (by Javi Marroquin) announced that she's taking a DNA test ... OMG.

Kailyn Lowry of Teen Mom 2

“So excited for this,” she captioned the picture below, and after she completed it, the young mom still had the same amount of excitement!

Did the results finally reveal the identity of her baby daddy?

One of the many speculations about her pregnancy is that Kailyn doesn't know who the father is, so talk of a DNA test fed that rumor.

Alas, that wasn't her reason for taking the test. Not remotely.

“It’s ancestry DNA to find out where I came from,” she tweeted, crushing fans hopes, unless they were dying to know if she's 26.8% Irish.

Ancestry Test

Of course ... just because the DNA test wasn't taken for this purpose doesn't mean it didn't serve an entirely different purpose this morning.

Lowry herself took to Twitter in response to overblown tabloid headlines stemming from her Ancestry shout-out ... and dropped a bombshell.

See below. Kail re-tweeted OK Magazine's headline reading “Pregnant Kailyn Lowry Takes DNA Test - Is Chris Lopez REALLY the Baby Daddy?”

Her response, clarifying both the nature of the test AND the father:

“Ancestry DNA & Yeah he is … stop with the headlines already.”

Wow. Just like that, the veil of secrecy has been dropped. Perhaps months of non-stop scrutiny by Teen Mom Nation finally wore her down?

Kailyn Confirmation

Following the announcement that Lowry is pregnant for the third time, her publicist said the "father is a friend Kail was briefly dating."

“This was Kail’s choice and she is 100% happy," her publicist said. "Kail can’t wait to welcome the new addition to her family this summer.”

Kailyn refused to name him, however, until this morning.

Yet the fact that Lowry or her PR team didn't reveal the father's identity didn't stop her from dropping hints on social media like it's hot.

Fans came to assume that Chris Lopez is the father, as the pair did briefly date, and right around the time of conception to boot.

Circumstantially, he began to fit the bill more and more.

She accidentally said the name Chris during an Instagram live chat and calls the kid Baby Lo, which many believe stands for Lopez.

(Kailyn tried to convince us last month that "Lo" stood for "Littlest One," but we believe that about as much as anything Farrah Abraham says.)

Lowry also replied, “Chris would say, ‘I’m Holden the baby’” when a fan suggested the name Holden if her third baby is a boy.

Lopez fueled the rumors himself when he mentioned, and apologized to, his “miracle child” in a tweet that he quickly deleted.

A tweet that was "liked" by a single person - Kailyn.

More recently, fans hilariously speculated that Love and Hip Hop's Peter Gunz knocked her up after he was creeping on Kail's Insta.

Other heralded candidates in this sweepstakes for the ages included Tyler Hill, JC Cueva, a dude named Cabrell and more.

All we know for sure is that she's single now.

Recently, Lowry slammed her baby daddy (not by name obviously) over the fact that when she welcomes her third child, it'll be solo.

“I think I’m most worried about the changes ahead, but also that I will have this baby 24/7 by myself with no help,” the MTV star wrote.

“I’m going to be a single parent from [day one]!”

She’s also torn him a new one on Twitter, urging fans, “Cut out those toxic to you & you’ll see what you’ve been missing out on."

“If the person you are with is not your #1 fan," she added, somewhat strangely, then you should instead look in your phone and:

"Recruit one of the regulars in your iMessages.”

Okay then, well, at least she's cleared that up.

And at least Kail and Jo, and Kail and Javi, are on good terms lately, as it looks like "Big Lo" will sadly be MIA from the life of "Baby Lo."

For the sake of her kids, current and future, we wish her the best, and hope the fathers and father figures remain active and present.

She needs all the help she can get.
