Kailyn Lowry's memoir, Hustle and Heart, hasn't even been published yet, but it's already making waves for its revelations about the life of the Teen Mom 2 star.
Interestingly, the most stunning bombshells have centered not around Kailyn's tumultuous relationships or life as a single mom.
Rather, it's her future with the show that made her famous that seems to be prompting the most speculation among fans ...
In an excerpt published earlier this week, Kailyn hinted that Teen Mom 2 might come to an end after one more season.
“Now, especially with the show coming to an end, it’s time for my accomplishments to stand out,” she wrote.
“I want to show everyone that even though I grew up like white trash and got knocked up at seventeen, I can get a Bachelor’s degree."
No matter the obstacles, she says, "[I can] raise children who blow people away with their manners, wit and intelligence.”
Inspiring stuff that was meant to show readers that despite the many hardships she's endured, Kailyn remains optimistic about her future.
Yet instead, it was taken as a signal to freak out over the end of one of the most beloved reality series on television.
Now, a new excerpt is being taken as an indication that it may just be Kailyn's time on the show will soon be over, not the show itself:
“I complained to [a friend] about filming for Teen Mom and said that I wanted to be known for other things outside of that."
"He just told me to ride the wave until I get to where I want to be.”
Yes, it seems Kailyn is feeling the strain of living her life in front of millions of (frequently judgmental) fans, and she's ready to move on.
It's hard to blame her for wanting to start new chapter of her life.
Still, some fans of the franchise are predictably distraught over the news that Kailyn appears to be planning her exit strategy.
Others, by contrast, are overjoyed that this may mean the show will carry on for several more seasons without her, which is a bizarre thought.
In any case, Hustle and Heart hits stores on November 22.
Fortunately, it's not all vague speculation about the future of Kailyn's television career. Would that sell any books? We think not.
No, Kailyn knows enough to offer fans what they really want in a memoir - an inside perspective on all those rollercoaster relationship moments.
At one point she describes marrying Javi Marroquin as a mistake and goes into detail about his paranoid jealousy in the couple's final days:
“When he did things like demanding that I unlock my phone to prove I had nothing to hide, or calling me constantly when I was enjoying time with friends to make sure I wasn’t doing anything ‘sneaky’ behind his back, it became clearer and clearer how little my husband trusted me."
“I had done nothing to make him doubt me," she insists.
"I never lied, never went behind his back and I was never unfaithful. For some reason, he was convinced otherwise.”
Yes, it sounds like Kailyn is very much the type of girl who can recognize when it's time to call it quits in that sense.
Of course, that cuts both ways, as fans will miss the kind of relatable relationship drama that only she can deliver.
