Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry is holding absolutely nothing back in her forthcoming tell-all book, Hustle & Heart.
The 24-year-old mother of two has been promoting the book that will chronicle that past few years of her life.
A big chunk of those years chronicled in the book, not surprisingly, involve her turbulent marriage to Javi Marroquin.
Kail and Javi finally confirmed they were over earlier this year, following month after month of speculation to that effect.
Fans have been questioning what the heck went down between ever since, though, as few details have been confirmed.
Despite all the drama and the passive-aggressive shade-throwing, Kailyn's book paints a more conventional picture of the split.
If anything, it sounds like her marriage failed for fairly common reasons.
Lowry seems to think that Javi's knack for trying to control her was part of the reason it all went south for the pair.
“I thought I had my fairytale ending on September 4, 2012 - the day I said, ‘I do,'” Lowry, 24, wrote in the tell-all.
“I had Javi, my knight in shining armor, and we had big plans to build a castle together where we’d raise our children in a stable, two-parent home.”
If only it were that simple.
Kailyn explains in the book that from her perspective, Marroquin was not supportive of practically anything she wanted to do.
“I wanted to open a blow-dry bar, an idea my friends were so supportive of,” the MTV star said, detailing her lifelong dream.
“Javi, on the other hand, was not on board. In fact, he was downright unsupportive, knocking down the idea every time I brought it up.”
If you watch Teen Mom 2 online, you'll already know that Javi didn't have much trust in Kailyn on more than one occasion.
Have a look at the video above of him implying Kailyn was cheating on him, a claim that we don't think had any merit.
It was heartbreaking to watch it all play out in public like that, but it did reveal there were some serious trust issues.
Over time, Kailyn realized this too, and "it became clearer and clearer how little my husband trusted me,” she penned.
“When he did things like demanding that I unlock my phone to prove I had nothing to hide, or calling me constantly when I was enjoying time with friends to make sure I wasn’t doing anything ‘sneaky’ behind his back."
“I had done nothing to make him doubt me."
"I never lied, never went behind his back and I was never unfaithful. For some reason, he was convinced otherwise,” she adds.
Maybe the two of them really are better off alone.
We hate to say that, but it's true at this point.
It seems like they're friends one day and enemies the next. Surely the release of this book on November 22 will cause a lot more tension.
Kailyn also revealed what she thought of love, and relationships, and it was a surprisingly simple but coherent statement.
“Love takes work, yes,” she wrote.
“But there must be rewards for that work."
"There must be progress."
"Love should always mean honesty, respect and kindness. But love doesn’t mean staying in a relationship that doesn’t make you happy anymore.”
Kailyn also hinted in the book that Teen Mom 2 is concluding, but she didn't give any indication about when or if that is in any way official
