Country superstar Carrie Underwood has reportedly filed for divorce from her hockey-playing husband, Mike Fisher.
According to Naughty Gossip, Underwood and Fisher have been fighting constantly, and it all stems from their family.
A source told the website, "Carrie and Mike have been at each other’s throats for ages over when to bring another little one into their family."
"Mike is at his wit’s end."
Apparently it's bad.
"When he and Carrie married, they both agreed on four kids! But neither is getting any younger," the source remarked.
Underwood, however, is at the peak of her career, and as a result, "seems more interested in touring and recording."
Well, that's her bread and butter and all that, and also that stupid NFL opener, while Fisher is most interested in adding to their brood.
The couple currently has one child together, and if this is true, it would make sense that the work/home life balance is thrown off kilter.
Carrie's been pretty mum on the state of the couple's union, as she formerly used to gush over her husband hard.
The last time Underwood really talked about Fisher was in July, where she said that "God put them together," and shared a sweet snap of the couple on their anniversary.
It read, "Six years ago today, I said ‘I do' to this handsome fella."
"I meant it then and I mean it now."
But does she mean it still, now that her career is allegedly on the line?
"God put us together and continues to bless our marriage," Underwood added.
"I couldn't imagine this life without you, @mfisher1212."
"I am thankful for these past six years together (and, of course, for our beautiful son, Isaiah) and I look forward to spending the rest of our lives in love."
Here's to undying love ... that often dies pretty abruptly and dissolves fairly quick in Hollywood.
Carrie might be from Oklahoma, but she's Hollywood through and through these days if this story is to be believed.
Good luck to her and her family, in any case, and hopefully they can work things out if they're on the rocks.
On the bright side, it's probably safe to say that infidelity isn't the case in any possible issues the couple might be facing.
Underwood has spoken about her thoughts on cheating in the past.
She and LeAnn Rimes have reportedly been feuding for the last decade, and Carrie allegedly dissed LeAnn and her ill-gotten gain of Eddie Cibrian.
"Carrie was disgusted and couldn't believe she'd destroy a marriage," a source revealed.
"She is very religious and thinks that LeAnn's appalling homewrecking confirmed everything she'd suspected in the first place."
Well, at least we know what Carrie wouldn't do - and probably wouldn't tolerate, either.
Best wishes to the couple.
Hopefully they don't end 2016, The Year of Epic Divorces, on a negative note.
