Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky are doing just fine, thank you very much.
This might come as a shock to Woman's Day Magazine Australia, of course.
That tabloid recently ran a story that claimed the actor and his wife would be the next Hollywood couple to file for divorce...
... but a pair of new Instagram photos and captions are here to prove that article wrong.
Take the image above, for instance.
Not only was it snapped over the weekend and not only do Hemsworth and Pataky look quite happy and cozy in it - but the Thor star hurled some shade in the direction of Woman's Day Magazine Australia in conjunction with it.
“Looking for a new wife according to @womansdayaus and other misleading outlets!” Hemsworth wrote as the picture's description, adding:
“Honey you still love me right?!”
The heartthrob hilariously even added his own hashtag: “#thanksfortheheadsup.”
Reports that the couple's marriage is on the rocks do seem a tad bit far-fetched, considering how the two are continually gushing over one another.
Case in point:
"[Elsa] gives me confidence and makes me look good," Hemsworth told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of In the Heart of the Sea last December.
"She tells me how to dress. She gets me ready for the red carpet."
Pataky, meanwhile, also took to Instagram Monday, sharing the above selfie of her and her husband cuddling up, along with the caption:
“Always and forever!!”
This marriage update was in response to a report by Woman’s Day Australia that minced few words in describing the state of the stars’ union.
“They’ve decided they need space, and they’ve been taking a little break from each other,” an anomyous source told the outlet, adding:
“Hopefully it will be a case of absence makes the heart grow fonder, but they definitely appear to have some issues that need to be sorted out. It has raised a few eyebrows among their friends.”
Hemsworth and the Spanish model got married in 2010 and are parents to four-year-old India Rose and two-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan.
Hemsworth was beyond adorable when discussing the former a little while back, telling Ellen that his daughter wants a penis.
Hemsworth also told The Who magazine that he loves Pataky even more now that they have their three kids.
"Watching her be a mother made me fall even more in love with her,” he said. “Once we had kids we were like, ‘We’re in it, this is it.’
“All of a sudden I had a greater appreciation for my wife, she kind of came into her own when we had kids," he said to that outlets. "She certainly keeps me sane. I complain about things, she gets on with it."
We love it.
And we love these two as a couple.
How dare anyone try to besmirch them?!?
