Taraji P. Henson & 50 Cent: It's War!

by at .

There is no love lost between Taraji P. Henson and 50 Cent.

Henson stars on the hit Fox drama, Empire, while 50 Cent co-created and stars on Power

Basically, both shows are very popular.

Currently, Empire is the highest rated scripted series on broadcast television.

Season 3 debuted with 10.9 million viewers and a 4.1 rating among adults 18-49.

Those figures meant that the show was down dramatically from the beginning of Season 2.

However, the most recent ratings are in line with the spring average for the drama.

Power airs on Starz and can't muster ratings even close what Empire garners.

The most recent episode had just a hair over 2 million viewers and a 0.9 rating.

Granted, the ratings for Power have increased steadily throughout the run of the show.

50 Cent has trashed the cast and crew of Empire in the past, but it's become apparent that Taraji is having none of it this time round.

The feud went nuclear when 50 Cent took to Instagram to claim Empire's ratings were dropping

"Well look at the bright side at least. You can eat your trophies," 50 Cent said in a now deleted post.

"I was talking to old girl but you felt like you had to respond. SMH you know I love you cookie. I got a new show for you BMF COMING SOON !!!#EFFENVODKA."

Maybe 50 Cent thinks trashing Empire is finding his show new viewers.

It's actually pretty embarrassing that he feels the need to comment on a show losing viewers when his show isn't anywhere near to the show he's trashing in terms of both ratings and quality.

Taraji was quick to school Curtis on being totally wrong about the whole thing. Have a look below:

The funniest part about Taraji's post to her nemesis was that she referred to him as "loose change."

It's crazy the levels people will stoop to in order get some attention.

50 Cent didn't halt the argument there.

He went one step further into stupidity.

"All this back and forth s--t is starting to turning me on cookie, LMAO I ran into Lee Daniels at the gym on Sunset Blvd. he asked why I didn't except his offer to be on EMPIRE. I told him I have a lot going on, I'm actually working on the show FOX is gonna replaceEMPIRE with, he looked at me like...why the f--k are you doing that?" he wrote in yet another deleted post.

"It's because I'm a drug dealer, and I was taught to get in, get your weight up, then take over. So that's the deal #EFFENVODKA #smsaudio #FRIGO."

Basically, 50 Cent will cause arguments, but he'll delete all the proof because to make him look like the innocent one.

He since wrote another post claiming that everyone who watches Power knows there's nothing else on TV like it, or something.

While Taraji and 50 Cent were firing shots at each other, Taraji took time to compliment Naturi Naughton.

At least Taraji takes aim at the person causing all the friction.

That's more than can be said for 50 Cent, who seems to want to trash everyone associated with Empire

What do you think about all of this?

Is 50 Cent trying to plug Power and Effen Vodka by trashing the most popular show on broadcast television?
