Following an awe-inspiring recovery from a near-fatal overdose last year, Lamar Odom has reportedly fallen back into the addictions that nearly cost him his life.
Last month, Odom's family and friends staged an intervention for the troubled former NBA star, but it seems to have had no effect.
Sources say the 36-year-old stormed out minutes after he was confronted by his loved ones.
Now, insiders claim that those closest to him fear for Odom's life as his substance abuse seems to only be getting worse.
In a sad reminder of how bad things have gotten, Radar Online claims to have obtained footage that shows Odom using drugs in public and in broad daylight.
In the footage, Odom does appear to be smoking something, but just what that something is remains a matter of debate.
Some say it's marijuana, while others claim Odom has fallen back into the habit of smoking crack, his frightening drug of choice for years.
At the height of his addiction, Odom was indiscriminate with regard to the drugs that he used (see alleged Lamar Odom crack video above).
In the days before the overdose that caused him to suffer several strokes and land in a coma, Odom was reportedly mixing a variety of substances.
After OD'ing following a several-day binge at a brothel in Nevada, he was on the verge of death and was determined to turn this around.
The 36-year-old Odom swore off drugs and was said to be committed to staying sober after leaving the hospital.
So much for that.
That lasted only a couple of weeks, or months, depending on who you ask - but the renewed lease and outlook on life did not last.
These days, however, new evidence of his addictions seems to surface every day, and they appear to be getting worse.
The new drug video comes on the heels of reports that Odom was removed from a plane after vomiting and stumbling in the aisles prior to takeoff.
It also follows reports that Khloe found a crack pipe in the house she rented for the former NBA star and kicked him out as a result.
Odom was even reportedly homeless for a time, though he denied that allegation - for whatever his word is worth these days.
In any case, he's not doing well, and here's hoping that someone in his life is able to convince Lamar to get the help he needs soon.
