As you may have heard, Amber Heard has filed for divorce from Johnny Depp after just 15 months of marriage, and she’s made some shocking allegations of abuse against the actor.
Days after filing, Heard got a restraining order against her estranged husband and gave several statements to the court detailing the extent of the assaults.
She alleges that Depp’s abuse of cocaine and alcohol has turned him violent and claims he threw a cell phone and a wine glass at her, plus grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the floor during three separate incidents.
Following the divorce but before Heard’s comments to the court became public, a rep for Depp released the following statement :
“Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life.”
