We've known for a while that Tom Cruise isn't exactly father of the year material, but if the latest report from Radar Online is to be believed, the noted couch-jumper may be even more negligent than we thought.
Yesterday, Suri Cruise celebrated her tenth birthday with her mother, Katie Holmes, and several friends.
Sources tell Radar that her father was noticeably not in attendance.
In fact, one insider (with bizarrely specific information) claims that Tom hasn't seen Suri in 928 days.
Last summer, it was widely reported that Cruise hadn't seen his daughter in two years.
Now it seems he may be going for an even three.
And why would a man who clearly has the time and money to travel wherever he needs to in order to spend time with his daughter spend such a tragically long time apart from her?
Well, if you believe the tabloids (We're not sounding off on this one way or another, because we enjoy not getting sued.), it all has to do with Tom's intense commitment to the teachings of the Church of Scientology.
Former members have often claimed that they were forbidden to contact loved ones who had abandoned the Church.
Even spouses, siblings and - yes - children have reportedly been deemed persona non grata after leaving the COS, and insiders say even high-ranking members like Cruise are forbidden to contact so-called "suppressive persons" under penalty of ex-communication.
Maybe that's the case here - or maybe Tom is just a bad dad.
In any event, he hasn't been photographed with Suri in a long, long time.
