James Franco is many things:
An actor. A writer. A student. A former fast food employee.
And now we can add another description to the list:
A quasi bisexual.
Speaking this week to New York Magazine, Franco opened up on the topic of his often-questioned sexuality, acknowledging why some people think he's into his own gender.
“Yeah, I’m a little gay, and there’s a gay James,” the actor told the publication, explaining as a follow-up that he doesn't actually have sex with men.
“If your definition of gay and straight is who I sleep with, then I guess you could say I’m a gay cock tease.
"It’s where my allegiance lies, where my sensibilities lie, how I define myself."
Last year, Franco famously got in touch his homosexual side in an article for FourTwoNine magazine in which he interviewed himself as “Straight James Franco” speaking with “Gay James Franco.”
He offered up similar quotes at that time as he does here.
“I like to think that I’m gay in my art and straight in my life,” Franco said in 2015. “Although, I’m also gay in my life up to the point of intercourse, and then you could say I’m straight.”
Over the course of his very successful career, Franco has portrayed gay men in movies such as Milk, I Am Michael and Interior Leather Bar.
In his latest film, King Cobra, Franco takes on the role of a murdered gay adult film star and has an explicit sex scene with costar Keegan Allen.
