Hamilton Cast Pays Moving Tribute to Prince: WATCH!

Along with the rest of the world, Broadway stopped and paid tribute to Prince on Thursday night.

The beloved legend of a singer died at his home in Minnesota at the age of 57, prompting an endless number of celebrities to share their thoughts about Prince on social media.

But Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast of Hamilton used a very different platform to make their feelings about the late musician known.

At the conclusion of Thursday night’s show, Miranda led his talented colleagues with an exuberant dance set to the song, “Let’s Go Crazy."

Earlier in the day, Miranda had Tweeted that he was “gutted“ by the news of the icon’s death, later adding:

Step away from your computer. Walk around, blast some Prince. It's the only thing that has saved my day, it may save yours.

Elsewhere on The Great White Way, Jennifer Hudson and the cast of The Color Purple also performed a rendition of a classic Prince song.

After the former American Idol contestant shared a personal story about Prince, she was given a solo as part of the cast's following take on "Purple Rain."

Tributes to Prince continue to pour in from all corners of Hollywood.

No official cause of death has been determined yet, but Prince fell so ill aboard an airplane on April 15 that the vehicle had to make an emergency landing.

The 57-year old icon than passed away on Thursday morning at his residence in Minnesota, with reports indicating that Prince died in an elevator.

Authorities were called to the scene, but pronounced the artist dead soon upon arrival.
