Early this morning, it was reported that WWE icon Chyna was found dead in her Redondo Beach, California apartment.
Chyna, a.k.a. Joan Marie Laurer, was 45 years old.
No official cause of death has been revealed, and authorities will likely issue a toxicology report sometime next week.
Sadly, despite her relative youth, Chyna's friends and family say they weren't entirely shocked by the news of her death.
The wrestler, as those familiar with her career know, had battled substance abuse and emotional issues for much of her life.
Like so many others who passed away too young after their WWE careers, Chyna's demons were well-documented.
Today, many fans are wondering which one of her many battles ultimately claimed the beloved wrestler and actress' life.
Moments ago, TMZ published details of Chyna's final days and the scene at her home where her body was discovered.
Though grisly, the information may bring comfort to fans who were concerned that Chyna was so distraught she decided to take her own life.
A source tells the celebrity news website that Chyna was dead for "a day or two" before her body was discovered.
Her last known contact with anyone occurred on Sunday night.
She was found dead on Wednesday evening, so it's not clear exactly when she passed away within that time frame.
The insider claims that there was no indication of a suicide, and that no note from Chyna was found at the scene.
Though "three or four" prescription bottles were found in the apartment, the source says they were "nothing out of the ordinary."
They also were not emptied, for what that's worth.
The unidentified friend concludes that Chyna likely died from an accidental overdose as she had "seemed under the influence" in recent weeks.
