It’s only been a month since Amy Duggar married Dillon King, but the 28-year-old seems to already have a firm sense of what she will and won’t put up with in a marriage.
Long story short: No Josh Duggar-like shenanigans.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Amy opened up about her new husband, her bikini-filled honeymoon and, of course, the million dollar question of whether Anna should leave Josh Duggar.
Amy didn’t completely dodge the controversial question, but she wasn’t her usual outspoken self either. Clearly the Duggars have all been instructed to keep mum on the topic of Josh.
Even so, Amy made her feelings on her philandering cousin very clear:
"I talk to her a lot. She's doing good."
"She's stronger than I would be, I'll tell you that. There's no way I could handle that ... I would handle it so different, oh my gosh."
“I would handle it so different” seems to be Amy’s way of saying she would boot Josh’s hypocritical punk ass to the curb in a heartbeat.
We can’t say we blame her. Does anyone out there?
When she's not weighing in on that cheater Josh, Amy has been busy Instagraming swimsuit photos (blasphemy) and gushing about her husband.
She still refuses to say whether or not she saved herself for marriage, but she did reveal that she didn’t have the typical Duggar wedding:
"There's no honeymoon baby," she says.
"My cousins asked me when I got back - they were like, 'Are you pregnant?'" Amy recalls, to the surprise of no one. "And I was like, 'Uh, no.'"
"And they looked shocked. I mean, shocked! They were...almost upset, you know? [We're] definitely not planning anything, not anytime soon.”
Married for four weeks and no baby news yet?!
Well, she’s always been the rebellious one.
