Yesterday, we reported that Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald are broke, or at least running low on cash, and basically unemployed.
Might their fortunes be turning around, however?
Ben works for Jessa's dad, Jim Bob (though sources say Ben's "work" mostly consists of helping his wife repair her family's image).
Jessa, for her part, lands the occasional public speaking gig, but reality TV was the couple's bread and butter, and they know it too.
Sources say they're aware that if they don't find a way to get back into the spotlight, their window of opportunity might close forever.
Fortunately, Jessa and Ben will star in a series of upcoming TLC specials that could put them back in their fans' good graces.
The Seewalds are no doubt aware of how much is at stake, as this will likely be their last shot at TV stardom (and avoiding real work).
Not that it will be an easy task to make their once-adoring public forget about the multiple, tawdry Josh Duggar sex scandals.
Fortunately, Jessa has a trick up her sleeve.
While she won't be the first newly-married Duggar woman to welcome a child on television, Jessa reportedly plans to one-up sister Jill ...
... by delivering her baby at home!!
"Our plan is to have a home birth," Jessa wrote on her family's blog, adding that "we have lots of relatives and friends" who have done so.
While "we excited and hopeful that our experience will be the same," Jessa made reference to Jill's harrowing birth experience in April.
"we also realize that sometimes (as in Jill’s case) a transfer to the hospital may be necessary, and our birth plan definitely includes a plan B."
Jessa also revealed that she and Ben are currently "doing some filming" in preparation for the birth of "#BabySeewald" November 1.
A source close to production of the specials says Jessa and Ben will not even mention Josh Duggar or the scandals that forced their family off TV.
It certainly won't be easy, but it must beat begging fans for cash!
