Giada De Laurentiis is now a single woman after getting officially divorced from husband Todd Thompson, but it's going to cost the celebrity chef.
Divorce documents state that the pair, who separated last July after 11 years of marriage, will share joint custody of daughter Jade Marie, 7.
However, Giada will pay her ex $9,000 a month in child support.
There was no prenup in place, and Thompson, a fashion designer, gets to keep the couple's $3.2 million house in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
De Laurentiis must pay 50 percent of all net book royalties for books she has published during their marriage, and that's not even all.
She also must cough up 50 percent of the advances for several cookbooks that she has not even finished yet, worth nearly $5 million!
The former couple are also dividing up bank accounts worth more than $2 million. Neither have been ordered to pay spousal support.
Giada De Laurentiis and Todd Thompson split last winter. She admitted the "decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness."
She said their focus on the future and happiness has "given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths."
"Todd and I share a beautiful daughter," she added, "and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything."
Not as douchey as "conscious uncoupling" but positive.
Rumors of Giada dating Bobby Flay since the divorce have run rampant, but both sides have denied he had anything to do with the split.
