Once again, One Direction members have taken to Twitter in order to talk their millions of fans down from the ledge.
A day after One Direction announced its plans to take a one-year hiatus, beginning in March of 2016, supporters around the globe have assumed the worst.
They've assumed this will soon be it, that the most handsome boy band in all the land is about to call it quits.
But Niall Horan jumped online last night to assure followers the group is NOT breaking up... and now his friends and colleagues have done the same.
Isn't that right, Louis Tomlinson?
“Your support is truly indescribable! It's just a break :) we're not going anywhere !! Promise,” Tomlinson Tweeted on Monday evening.
And what say you, Liam Payne?
“So glad everything has been cleared up today and ur support with it is amazing not that we could ever expect anything less your amazing.
"Can't wait to put more time into everything we do and coming out with something great.
"Thank you so much for everything you have done for us it's been the most amazing five years and there's so much more to come."
Cynics, however, will note that Harry Styles is yet to assure fans in the same way as his fellow singers.
And of all the One Direction members, Styles is considered the most likely to become the next Justin Timberlake, the star who leaves his group behind and finds major success as a solo artist or even actor.
So, until we hear from him, questions and concern will linger.
Hang on tight, 1Ders. It's gonna be a very long 2016.
