Lily-Rose Depp, the 16-year-old daughter of Johnny Depp, came out today as falling "somewhere on the vast spectrum" of sexuality.
In a message on the Instagram page of artist and gay rights activist iO Tillet Wright, Rose came forward as a member of the LGBTQ community.
I'm so proud of my baby girl @lilyrose_depp," Wright captioned the above photo.
"She decided she wanted to be in @selfevidentproject because she falls somewhere on the vast spectrum, and I couldn't be happier to welcome her to the family. She's a tiny gem of a good human. #prouduncle #weareyou"
Lily-Rose posed with Wright as part of the Self-Evident Truths Project, which aims to photograph 10,000 people who "identify as anything other than 100% straight."
The project claims that the young actress is their 9,560th subject.
Obviously, Lily-Rose deserves credit for coming forward as "sexually fluid" (a term used by an insider to describe her orientation), but this is a gossip site, and we would be remiss if we didn't mention the other interesting aspect of this story:
It's been widely reported that Johnny Depp's wife Amber Heard is hooking up with Wright, and Johnny is less than thrilled about it.
Apparently, the couple had an open-ish relationship at one point, but Johnny put the kibosh on all that once he and Heard got married back in February.
That "#prouduncle" just got a lot more confusing.
