Earlier this week, we reported that Josh Duggar checked into rehab in order to receive treatment for his "addictions" to porn, strippers and prostitutes.
As more details of Josh's rehab emerged, it became clear that this would not be the sort of cushy therapy-based treatment that's usually sought out by disgraced celebs.
No, it seems that just like the first time Josh received "counseling" for his sexual misconduct, the focus will be on exorcising the 27-year-old's demons through shaming and brutal physical punishments.
Don't get us wrong, Josh should be shamed and punished, but we're not sure if the Duggars' Guantanamo Bay approach to rehab will be effective in addressing his obvious psychological issues.
According to those closest to the situation, Josh is currently at Reformers Unanimous in northern Illinois - a faith-based treatment center that the Duggars have endorsed in the past.
Both the RU website and those who have "graduated" from one of the intensive programs the center offers say it's less like a traditional rehab facility and more like a Christian work camp.
All participants are required to adhere to the same schedule, which starts with breakfast and prayer services at 4:30 am.
After that comes a grueling day of hard labor that lasts until 4:30 pm. That's followed by dinner, church services, Bible study, and a mandatory lights out at 10 pm.
Again, Josh actually deserves far worse treatment, as he admittedly molested five young girls and never served a day of prison time, but we doubt that paying a reported $7,500 for the privilege of doing free labor will help him to abstain from cheating on his wife.
Fortunately, if Josh will actually be gone for six months - as several reports claim - Anna Duggar will have plenty of time to get used to life without him, which will hopefully lead to her leaving his ass.
