Last night, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux threw a massive party at their Bel Air mansion.
Jen reportedly told friends that the occasion was Justin's birthday, which is a little suspicious, as he doesn't turn 44 until August 10.
It makes sense to throw an early birthday party on a weekend, but on a Wednesday?!
Add to that the fact that a clergyman and a caterer carrying a tall cake with two figures on top were seen entering the home, and this "birthday party" begins to sound an awful lot like a wedding.
UPDATE: Forget the rumors. This really did happen!
Aniston and Theroux got engaged back in 2012. Unfortunately, it's turned out to be a bumpy road to the altar.
Last year, we reported that Jennifer and Justin were planning a wedding in Hawaii, but the big day never happened.
So it makes sense that after all that drama, Jen and Justin would favor a low-key ceremony.
TMZ is reporting that Jen went to great lengths to keep things under wraps.
A massive shed was built in her backyard to hide all the party supplies, and staffers' phones were confiscated to keep them from spilling the beans.
Awful lot of secrecy for a birthday shindig, don't ya think?
