It’s been over a week since we first heard rumors of Christine Ouzounian dating Ben Affleck, and despite the fact that she’s clearly enjoying her 15 minutes of fame, the 28-year-old still hasn’t spoken to the press.
Of course, that could be the result of a gag order Ouzounian signed before she was hired by Affleck and Jennifer Garner.
In any event, there may be no longer be any need for Ouzounian to tell her side of the story, as sources close to Jen are revealing the truth about the nanny’s inappropriate relationship with Ben:
People magazine – probably the most reliable source on the the Ben and Jen divorce – has published a cover story in which unidentified members of Garner’s inner circle discuss the actress’ realization that her husband of 10 years was cheating:
"There was always a speck of doubt in Jen’s mind about separating but that’s now gone," says one source. "She is very angry. To Jen, this is the ultimate betrayal."
As reported earlier, Jen realized it was over during a family vacation in the Bahamas, during which Affleck and Garner had planned to discuss their uncertain future.
"It was game time," says an insider. "Ben had already told her he hadn’t been committed to the marriage. They were trying to figure out what to do."
Instead, of providing an opportunity to talk about their next move, however, the vacation ended abruptly when Jen found out that Ben had been cheating on her with Ouzounian.
Garner’s friends say she hasn’t looked back since, and what she hoped would be an amicable split has turned into the typical acrimonious Hollywood divorce.
"This is not anything she wanted as an outcome for her family or her marriage," says a friend of the actress. "But everyone is rallying around her."
