After more nearly 18 months of separation, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are finally getting divorced.
TMZ is reporting that the proper documents have been filed, both parties have agreed to the terms, and all that remains is for a judge to sign off on it and make the divorce official.
Khloe first initiated the process of legally ending her marriage way back in December of 2013, but she dragged her feet for a number of reasons.
In the weeks that followed those dual tragedies, Khloe reportedly put the divorce process on hold in order to provide emotional support for her estranged husband.
But now, some time has passed, and insiders day Khloe's relationship with James Harden is getting serious.
Sources say Khloe is no longer worried that the stress of finalizing the divorce will cause her troubled ex to relapse, and she's eager to complete the process and move on with her life.
The proceedings have reportedly been amicable thus far, and the divorce may be finalized as early as today.
Usually, we offer our condolences to married couples who have been forced to go their separate ways, in the case of Khloe and Lamar, we can't help but feel like congratulations are in order.
They've been divorcing for nearly as long as they were together, and it's got to be a relief for both parties to have the whole thing be over and done with.
