Earlier today, we wrote that Kim Kardashian gifted Kanye West with nothing but very sweet Twitter messages in honor of his 38th birthday.
Turns out, Kim Kardashian actually gifted Kanye West with two things in honor of his 38th birthday:
- Very sweet Twitter messages.
- A private basketball game inside Staples Center.
For reals, people.
"Kim rented out the Staples Center so Kanye and his boys could play an NBA-style game with real refs and Laker girls!" an insoder tells E! News.
Staples Center is where the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers play their home games.
"John Salley is the announcer," the source added. "Houston Rockets player James Harden and rapper 2 Chainz are the coaches. John Legend sang the national anthem."
Justin Bieber, Tyga, Pusha T and many other friends of Kanye gathered for the hardwood contest, which also included NBA All-Stars Russell Westbrook and John Wall.
Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Carmelo Anthony, Shaquille O'Neal and Scotty Pippen all recorded videos that popped up on the Jumbotron.
The price tag of this rental? $110,000.
E! writes that West is "obsessed" with basketball these days and that Kardashian also surprised her man with a court built into the couple's backyard.
"Kim rented out staples bitch!!! Him and his boys are going to ball!!!! Happy birthday Yeezy!!!!" Khlo Kardashian wrote along with the above photo.
It features Kanye holding a basketball while donning a jersey that reads "West" on it, surrounded by friends.
This is a pretty awesome gift and everything, but Kardashian is also pregnant with the twosome's second child.
And that's the best gift of all.
