Embattled 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar has spoken out for the first time since his shocking sexual molestation scandal went viral.
Duggar didn't address the allegations or admit again to any kind of wrongdoing. Instead, he took to Instagram to wish his son a very happy birthday.
Himself a father of three and counting, Josh captioned the above image:
"Happy 4th Birthday Michael James! #Big4 #HappyBirthday #Michael"
Josh's wife of nearly seven years, the pregnant Anna Duggar, also posted on her personal Instagram account for the first time since May 18.
That same week, news of Josh Duggar molesting five young girls when he was a teenager was first published by tabloid In Touch Weekly.
The mother of three shared a cute black-and-white video of Michael blowing out candles on a plate of cupcakes, surrounded by relatives.
"So glad to be in Arkansas celebrating Michael's 4th birthday - we love you Mikey!" Anna wrote, having just moved back there from D.C.
Josh resigned from the Family Research Council in the aftermath of the scandal. He had worked as a lobbyist for the conservative group.
In response to Josh's ongoing scandal, TLC has yanked 19 Kids and Counting from the air, although it has not been officially canceled.
Jill and Jessa Duggar, meanwhile, have tried to turn the public's attention to the police and the media for all the attention paid to the family.
Parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar also talked to Fox News, seeking to downplay the actions of Josh and salvage their own reputations.
The Duggars defended their decision not to turn Josh in to police right away, instead trying to handle things "in house" and with counseling.
Like victims Jill and Jessa, the matriarch and patriarch also pointed an angry finger at the media for victimizing their now-grown children.
