Throughout the Josh Duggar sexual abuse scandal, most of the 19 Kids and Counting clan has been silent on social media.
Two weeks ago, Jill and Jessa Duggar confirmed they were molested by Josh during an interview with Fox News. Shortly thereafter, the girls began updating their Instagram pages once again, seemingly as a sign to fans that all is well in the Duggar household.
Now, Jessa is directly addressing fans for the first time since Josh's abuse became public knowledge, and while she doesn't go into any specifics with regards to how her family is coping with the fallout, she thanks supporters for helping her through the "difficult times."
“We want to pause a moment and thank all of you who have been lifting us up in prayer,” Jessa wrote on her personal website.
“Our little family is, by God’s grace, going to continue seeking to lovingly point people to Christ and encourage those who are down...God’s goodness and kindness to us even in difficult times is humbling and wonderful!”
The remainder of the short blog entry is devoted to updates regarding Jessa's pregnancy.
"Baby Seewald is growing steadily and Mommy has been feeling some little, yet strong, kicks!" wrote the mom-to-be.
"We recently had an ultrasound, but aren't revealing our firstborn's gender yet. Can't wait to welcome this blessing from God into the world!"
Jessa is 20 weeks along, and recently began following in her sister Jill's footsteps by posting baby bump photos on Instagram.
Though she indirectly addressed her family's recent troubles in the blog post, Jessa seems to be sending the message to fans that she's ready to move on and focus on her future, rather than her past.
