Following weeks of social media silence amid the Josh Duggar molestation scandal, the pregnant Jessa Duggar is back online and back to her old tricks.
Posting ultrasound photos and teasing her impending birth, that is.
For much of the past year, we were treated to regular updates about #BabyDilly, the offspring of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard (now Israel Dillard).
Now get ready to say hello to #BabySeewald, Internet!
"#BabySeewald makes a 1st appearance today!" gushed Jessa, who proudly shared the sonogram of the future Seewald at 19 weeks and three days.
"Your daddy and I love you soooo much!” Jessa, who married Ben in November, continued on Wednesday. "#FirstUltrasound w/ @BenSeewald."
Following months of rumors and adoption plans, Jessa confirmed that she was pregnant and expecting her first child with her Ben this past April.
The typically active social media user went radio silent on her popular Twitter and Instagram accounts on May 19, however, for obvious reasons.
Reports that Josh Duggar molested Jill and Jessa, along with two more of his sisters and the family's babysitter as a teen, rocked the TLC stars.
Jessa and Jill reflected on her brother's actions with Megyn Kelly on Fox News last week, calling them "very wrong," but defending her brother, too:
"I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying."
"I’m like, ‘That is so overboard and a lie really.’ I mean people get mad at me for saying that, but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”
Jessa went on to criticize the police for leaking the case file and the media for exploiting her like a porn star in the wake of a family tragedy.
Her father-in-law Michael Seewald also defended Josh, in more pointed terms, brutally lashing out at the Duggar family's critics and haters.
In any case, we're sure the new Mrs. Seewald looking to get back to basics and focus on her pregnancy and more positive thoughts.
Expect more ultrasound photos early and often.
