Ever since Casey Anthony was cleared of the 2008 murder of her daughter Caylee four summers ago, she has kept herself under the radar.
But Anthony might resurface soon. NBC producers are reportedly in the talks with the infamous "Tot Mom" for a TV interview!
Anthony was acquitted of the murder in 2011 and has been quietly living in West Palm Beach, Fla.
However, according to Page Six, she was flown first-class to meet with NBC executives in New York City last Thursday. News producer Don Wood apparently escorted Casey to the NYC meeting.
Page Six confirmed that Anthony met with Today’s senior booking producer Matt Zimmerman. But it is not clear if Anthony will appear on Today or a different show.
NBC reps did not offer any comment. But a source said, “News divisions meet with people in the news all the time—as of now, nothing is planned.”
Over the last few years, reports have surfaced that Casey Anthony is in debt.
In 2013, Anthony settled a bankruptcy case that left her required to fork out $25,000.
Maybe the interview will offer her some much needed money. Reportedly, she is working as a housekeeper, so she likely needs a little cash.
Let’s just hope she doesn’t cash in on her deceased daughter.
