In the weeks following his departure from One Direction, Zayn Malik wisely kept his distance from social media. When Malik finally broke his Twitter silence it was to thank his fans and former bandmates in a gracious fashion.
But despite all of the band members' insistence otherwise, it seems there are some hard feeling regarding Zayn's decision to quit One Direction.
It all started when Malik tweeted the below photo of himself and producer Naughty Boy (who's allegedly producing Zayn's solo album).
The pic appears to have been taken with the once-popular Mac Photobooth app, which hasn't been cool since the 1D boys were in grade school. Louis Tomlinson aptly pointed this out, and things quickly got heated:
"Remember when you were 12 and you used to to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha!" Tomlinson commented on the photo. "Some people still do HA!"
Zayn wasted no time responding:
"Remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine?" Malik tweeted.
Yup. Things got real that fast. Tomlinson even went after Naughty Boy, tweeting, "Jesus, forgot you were such an in demand producer. How does it feel to be riding on the back of someone else's career?"
Wow. Get your popcorn, folks. It looks like we've got some legitimate boy band drama going down.
