For three years now, Yolanda Foster has been battling Lyme disease and sharing the details of her struggle with her millions of concerned fans.
Foster's Instagram diary has provided a stirring and often startling look at the ravages of her profoundly damaging illness and the reality star says she hasn't shied away from showing followers every aspect of her daily difficulties, as she hopes to raise awareness that may translate to research donations.
Unfortunately, while Yolanda gains more Instagram followers by the day, her most visible platform may no longer be available to her.
Rumors of Yolanda quitting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have been circulating since she announced her diagnosis, but now it looks like the time has come for Foster to actually part ways with the popular Bravo series.
Radar Online reported today that Yolanda's husband has asked her to quit the show, as he believes the stress and strain of appearing on television may exacerbate her condition.
“David [Foster] has told Yolanda there is just no way she can return to the show because her condition is just getting worse," says one insider.
"The Lyme disease is just ravaging her, and traveling for international treatments it taking its toll...Yolanda is extremely weak, and her memory is suffering. David is just being protective because he doesn’t want any of the ladies to use her illness against her, as he knows those women are vicious.”
We know David is just being protective, but we doubt even the ladies in Housewife Land would be so brutal as to use Yolanda's illness against her. Beside, she's pretty much the only cast member that everyone likes!
We're sure her presence will be greatly missed.
