Kylie Jenner made an alarming confession on Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 10 Episode 9. Alarming even though we all knew it to be true.
Yes, Keeping Up with the Kardashians took us deep, deep inside Kylie Jenner. Not in a way that's as dirty as that sounds ... but emotionally. Mentally.
The 17-year-old admitted she gets lip injections, a topic that has taken the Internet by storm and caused controversy for the better part of a year now.
How did the big reveal come about, from Kylie's own (super plump) lips?
It's a long story. One that began with her big sister Khloe Kardashian going in to have cellulite and stretch marks lasered off of her ample behind.
Naturally, Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner were present for this.
What else do they have going on, right? Besides, how are you supposed to flesh out a scripted storyline without cast members around for dialogue?
Cute Khloe musing, "When you are photographed all the time, it's natural to have insecurities or to want to change certain things about yourself."
Enter talk of Kylie Jenner's lips, with Khloe Kardashian confirming her injection-loving ways and Kendall basically admitting it too, saying:
"[Kylie's] a beautiful girl. I don't think she needs anything."
The youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, who has long attributed her "look" to lip liner, came clean when confronted about it, saying:
"It's just an insecurity of mine. It's what I wanted to do."
Kim Kardashian told Kylie not to get "carried away," but at the same time, that it's normal to be "insecure" and to man up and own what she does.
Kim, who "cannot leave the house without Spanx," has been up front about her body image struggles, despite her enviable, famous body. She said:
"If something makes you feel insecure and you've been feeling that way forever, who doesn't want to look amazing? You only have one life to live."
If you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online, you know these "plots" often end in teachable moments for the fam. This one was no exception.
"We all have eyes on us all the time," Kylie told the cameras. "Especially for me, at my age, trying to find myself. It's hard to not let it affect you."
"It intimidates me that people are so quick to judge me."
Fortunately, the teenager reflected, having older sisters "with some of the same insecurities as me helps me a lot and makes me feel like it's okay."
No word on how her older sisters feel about Kylie getting high as f--k on Snapchat, but hopefully, KUWTK fans follow Kendall's lead going forward.
The 19-year-old model said she has no idea frankly why anyone is "freaking out or talking about this ... no one needs anything, everybody's beautiful!"
