Scarlett Johansson became a mother for the first time last September.
The ridiculously attractive actress gave birth to baby girl named Rose alongside husband Romain Dauriac, meaning she has a lot of wisdom to share with the world, right?
She's a very well-known celebrity and now she's a parent, so Johansson must have many pieces of advice for fans to follow, no?
Actually, that's right: No. No, she does not.
"I'm such a newbie at this," Johansson said in a new interview with the Australian Daily Telegraph. "I always really hate it when actors or people in the spotlight make giant grandiose statements about parenthood because it's so, so personal.
"I don't profess to know anything more about parenting than anybody else."
That's a refreshing shocker, isn't it? A celebrity admitting that simply being a celebrity does not provide one with any more insight than anyone else possesses.
Why do we doubt Kim Kardashian would ever make such a statement?
All The Avengers star really knows at the moment is that her child will be dictating her life in many ways for the foreseeable future.
"I have a greater responsibility now, so that will definitely affect my schedule," she says. "Before [Rose], I just made the choices that were affecting me - but now I'm responsible for somebody else.
"Eventually, I will have to work less and it might make me more discerning [in the roles I choose]."
That's fair. We'll miss Scarlett on the big screen, but we'll understand.
