Taylor Swift: No One Wants to Date Me!
by Tyler Johnson at .During pre-release promotions for her colossally successful 1989, Taylor Swift gave some of the most revealing interviews of her career.
We learned of the "bad blood" between Taylor and Katy Perry; we found out about about Swift's nightmares and insecurities...and of course, Taylor spoke openly about her love life (or lack thereof).
These days, 1989 doesn't need any promotion (It's already broken just about every sales record in the book), but Ms. Swift is still spilling the tea in epis fashion.
In her latest sit-down, Taylor spoke with the UK's Telegraph, and she indirectly addressed her beef with Katy by refusing to talk about it.
What's even more interesting, however, is Taylor's prediction for her romantic future.
"In five years, I'll probably still be single, let's be honest," Taylor says. "No one's going to sign up for this and for everything that goes with it. I don't know what's going to happen if I'm ever content in a relationship - no idea how that's going to work."
Taylor goes on (referring to herself in the third person, for some reason) to hilariously describe her future as a lonely cat lady:
"In five years time, she'll be so afraid of everything, she doesn't leave her house. She's just surrounded by cats. So many cats, they've divided themselves into armies and she wanders around lint-rolling the house that no one's going to sit on because she's afraid to have people over."
So does this mean we can put the rumors of Taylor dating Tobias Jesso, Jr. to rest, or is Swifty just trying to throw us off the trail? She is a crafty cat lady, after all.
