You know what they say, right? A couple that gets arrested together stays together.
At least that's what Nathan Griffith and Jenelle Evans hope they will now say.
About a week after Evans got arrested for driving without a license, her fiance has been booked on charges of domestic violence.
Griffith was taken into custody in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina by The Horry County Police Department yesterday, the same day on which Evans skipped a court case to regain custody of her oldest son Jace.
The child is currently under the supervision of Jenelle's often-angry mother, Barbara Evans.
A source tells Us Weekly that Evans postponed the case, choosing instead to attend a couple’s counseling session with Griffith.
Details on Griffth’s arrest are unclear at the moment, but the Horry County police department has confirmed via statement that an “assault” took place at a location “location where a television show called Teen Mom 2 is being filmed.”
The assault resulted from an "argument between two persons who were determined to be household members" and:
"Officers arrested one Nathan Griffith, 27 years of age, of Myrtle Beach, SC. He has been charged with one count of Criminal Domestic Violence and he is presently being held at the Horry County Detention Center."
Evans, meanwhile has been arrested ELEVEN TIMES since appearing on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant for the first time in 2009, while Griffith also has a record.
In April 2014, he was arrested after driving with a suspended license.
