It's been a rough year for Iggy Azalea.
Following the success of "Fancy," the Aussie emcee probably figured it would be an easy ride to the top of the A-list, but feuds with Azealia Banks and other artists coupled with some pretty tone deaf comments made by Iggy during interviews have done possibly irreparable damage to the I-G-G-Y's reputation.
Iggy quit Twitter and Instagram last week in an effort to ensure that she doesn't publicly put her foot in her mouth again in the weeks before her first major tour.
It may be too little too late, however, as pre-sales have reportedly been dismal, and sources say Iggy's management team is considering pulling the plug to save her the embarrassment of playing to half-full arenas.
Insiders report that a big part of the problem is Iggy's attitude.
She has reportedly become "disengaged from her core team" and is refusing to do her part as far as promoting the tour.
Tour producers are said to be angry that Iggy quit social media just weeks at the worst possible time, and the rapper has apparently refused to cooperate with her management team with regard to promotional events.
Even her mentor T.I. has been critical of Iggy in recent weeks.
Yes, it looks as though the blonde femcee from Down Under may soon fade away just as quickly as she burst onto the scene. A year from now, you might see a picture of Iggy and wonder, "Who dat? Who dat?"
