Apple hosted one of its signature unveiling events today, and industry analysts expected CEO Tim Cook to share some new details about the highly anticipated Apple Watch.
They got more than they bargained for when a new Game of Thrones season 5 trailer crashed the party like a drunken Tyrion Lannister:
In addition to new news about the Watch (available April 24, prices start at $350), Cook announced that Apple will be teaming with HBO to launch the highly-anticipated streaming service HBO Now in time for the season premiere of GoT.
And what better way to make an announcement than with giant dragons?
The new preview gives us a more complete idea of what to expect from season 5 than we've gotten from previous trailers.
Daenerys has been on the warpath for some time now, but it looks like this season she'll finally start making her presence known on the Westeros mainland.
Tyrion, meanwhile, is still on the lam after fleeing a death sentence and murdering his nefarious father for good measure. He's now rocking an impressive fugitive beard and living a considerably less luxurious life than he's accustomed to.
We've already been told there will be some shocking deaths in Game of Thrones season 5, but what we're really looking forward to is the teased partnership between Tyrion and the Khaleesi.
Those two could prove to be an even more unstoppable duo than HBO and Apple.
