Cate Blanchett is a mother for the fourth time.
The Oscar-winning star and husband Andrew Upton have adopted a baby girl, her rep has confirmed to multiple outlets, releasing a simple statement that reads:
"The Upton family (Cate Blanchett and Andrew Upton) have adopted a baby girl," the rep told Us in a statement. "No further details will be provided."
The baby girl - whose name has not been released - joins a family that includes three sons: Ignatius Martin, nearly 7; Roman Robert, 10; and Dashiell John, 13.
After Ignatius was born, Blanchett made it clear to InStyle that she'd "love to have more children... just when, I don’t know. But the thing is, we hadn’t planned any of the others. They just popped out. So you shouldn’t overplan these things. If it happens, it would be great."
And this is great!
We send our best wishes to Blanchett and Upton!
