For soon-to-be newlyweds Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald, the final wedding countdown neared its end on 19 Kids and Counting Season 15 Episode 8.
Even for someone as non-Bridezilla as Jessa, that meant plenty of things to do and maybe even the tiniest bit of stress as the big day drew closer.
If you watch 19 Kids and Counting online, you know the Duggar family often does things a bit differently than your own family, and this was no exception.
Case in point: Jessa and Ben's first kiss was saved for their wedding day ... and Jessa's parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar gave them some tips.
During his personal pre-marriage counseling sessions, as Jim Bob explained, he went over all that they need to know as they embark on this journey.
"All the major topics: education, finances, goals in raising kids and just the importance of making things right every day before the sun goes down."
They also showed Jessa and Ben how to kiss on 19 Kids and Counting Season 15 Episode 8. 'Cause nothing is less awkward than dad telling you that.
"If you kiss straight-on, your noses hit together," said Jim Bob, demonstrating with his wife Michelle Duggar. "See? So, you have to turn one way."
"She turns the other. Decide ahead of time which way you're going to lean!"
We don't know about you, but we're leaning towards cringing just a little.
Not that Ben or Jessa objected. They chose to hold off on the physical activity in case it "lead[s] to stuff we're really trying to avoid before our wedding."
Having said that, any input from mom and dad is welcome, as they've clearly bought into all the Duggar family dating rules and philosophies on life.
On that note, despite getting married in mere days, Jessa and Ben still need chaperones if they go on a date. Enter Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard.
The married, pregnant pair reflected on their counterparts' situation.
"Whenever Ben gives her that look, I know that look ... I used to give Jill that look," Derick said. "It was the look when I thought to myself, 'I need to rein it in right now.'
"So, if I see Ben with that look, I just might have to tackle him."
So basically, Derick knows Ben is a hornball right now.
No one was tackled on last night's episode of 19 Kids and Counting, although the family did tackle a pizza making project that involved 19 children.
Also, the little ones are just so darn cute ...
