Last night on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 Episode 13, the saga of Kim Richards took another dramatic twist thanks to its latest participants:
Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson.
We began on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 Episode 13 at Kylie's mixer, right where we left off last week. And Lisa wasn't having it.
"I can't just sit back and watch the bulls--t train go by," Rinna said of the bizarre, ongoing battle between Brandi Glanville and Kim and Kyle Richards.
"I don't know what I've done to her," Kim said, crying, regarding her sister, as she left with Brandi following their epic throwdown the previous week.
Lisa Rinna, sitting with co-stars Eileen Davidson, Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle at the mixer, broke down the whole situation with Kim as she sees it:
"The real issue is she's an addict."
"I think everyone's trying to protect her. I don't want people to not look at that, but she needs help if she's taking a pill that she didn't really know what it was."
Rinna added via a confessional later: "If i were being really honest, I would say everyone is enabling an addict. there's weird behavior going on."
She met up with Brandi Glanville, who noted how difficult a topic this is: "If anyone were to say, ‘We're wondering about your sobriety,' she would die."
The topic of an intervention came up. Brandi said she couldn't do one, or suggest one. She would be open to a group effort, maybe, if Kyle headed it.
Eileen, meanwhile, tried to mediate between Kim and Kyle Richards and Kyle said she was going to stop trying to "figure out" Brandi and her anger issues.
"You know what, she's an a--hole," Kyle said.
No love lost between these two, clearly.
Also this week, Eileen took Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna and Kyle Richards across town to the Burbank Film Festival, which is held inside a mall.
Cannes, it isn't. Sundance, it isn't.
Heck, if you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online this is almost slumming it. "The red carpet is really kind of a bath mat," Eileen joked.
Also, Lisa Vanderpump had a hard time coming to grips with her son Max's decision to find his birth family, something any adoptive parent must struggle with.
Until next week ...
