Bobbi Kristina Brown's estranged husband, Nick Gordon, has reportedly been banned from visiting the 21-year-old in the hospital, new reports indicate.
There is even a restraining order involved, according to some sources.
Whitney Houston's only daughter is currently fighting for her life after being found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Georgia residence this weekend.
Brown was discovered unconscious, face down in the bath, by Nick Gordon and a friend, and has since placed in a medically induced coma.
The two men performed CPR before local police and paramedics arrived and managed to get her breathing, but she has not regained consciousness.
Insiders say Bobbi Kristina is unlikely to recover, tragically.
Gordon has been spotted waiting around outside the hospital, apparently unable to enter the premises as her family members sit at her bedside.
Her father, singer Bobby Brown, family friend and actor Tyler Perry, and her aunt Pat Houston are among those inside with her, but not Nick. Why?
Gordon reportedly moved out of the couple's home last week after they got into a fight, and Pat is said to have filed for a restraining order against him.
This bars him from seeing his ailing wife in the hospital.
It is unclear when the restraining order was taken out, or what led to it specifically, but just last Thursday, Bobbi tweeted simply: “On my own.”
It was the last post she wrote to 147,000 followers before being rushed to hospital, hence the slew of reports that Nick is somehow to blame for this.
Some skeptics have asked how he could legally be kept away as her husband, or whether a restraining order would trump his spousal rights.
Either way, Bobbi Kristina is clearly in a bad place.
There is also the eerie fact that Bobbi spent much time recently discussing the third anniversary of her mother Whitney Houston's untimely death.
That was on her mind more than ever, and more than her upcoming wedding anniversary. Speaking about Bobbi’s recent behavior, a source said:
"She was seemingly obsessed by it - strangely more so than last year or the year before. She talked more about that than her first wedding anniversary."
Another source close to the family added they have been concerned about her due to her erratic behavior, and worried she may have bipolar disorder.
The source told the Chicago Sun-Times of Bobbi's recent struggles: "There are increasingly obvious indications that Bobbi Kristina is bipolar."
That condition, they believe, "explains a lot about her mood swings, her ongoing battle with depression and her use of drugs over the past [few] years."
"The loss of her mom and her intense craving for attention are just the tip of her mountain of issues," says the insider, and it's not a stretch to believe.
Our thoughts are with Bobbi and her family at this time.
