Tyga swears that he and Kylie Jenner aren't dating, but Keeping Up With the Kardashians producers still want to avoid the taboo subject at all costs.
A source close to the long-running reality franchise say that the shot-callers won't even touch that drama and are keeping those two off the air this season.
Kylie Jenner will still be featured, obviously, but not around the rapper, even though Tyga denies he's dating Kylie, adamantly and publicly at that.
Of course, by merely talking about the issue, he's now further under the microscope. There's also his alleged social media claim that he hits that every day.
The young celebrities' close bond is particularly scrutinized given that he's a 25-year-old father of one and she's the 17-year-old sister of Kim Kardashian.
In an interview this week, Tyga bafflingly played the race card, trying to explain that the media only thinks he and Kylie have sex because he's black:
"In black culture it's just different," Tyga mused on Power 105.1.
"If you hang around somebody, you smashing them. White people, white culture, it's different. They really friends, it's genuine."
"For me, if I hang around [Kylie] and her sister, they hoes."
Eloquent, Tyga. Eloquent. Whatever they are, KUWTK is keeping a safe distance from this friendship (with benefits?) and it's easy to see why.
“Kylie and Tyga’s friendship, relationship, or whatever it may be, is way too sensitive of a subject right now for E! to tackle,” a network insider says.
Further stoking the flames as the Season 10 premiere of Keeping Up rapidly approaches is the ongoing feud between Amber Rose and the Kardashians.
A good friend of Tyga’s baby-mamma Blac Chyna, Amber Rose said Tyga should be ashamed of his alleged dalliances, labeling the teenage Jenner a “baby.”
This triggered a nasty beef between Rose - who famously dated Kim Kardashian's husband Kanye West - and Khloe Kardashian, who called Amber out.
Tyga was quick to deny Rose's implications, saying:
“I want to be clear to everybody that I didn’t leave my family to be with Kylie. That’s ridiculous. Me and [Chyna], we broke up almost close to a year [ago]."
"Because of the decision that we made, and things in our relationship that weren’t going right, [we] decided to split up to raise an emotionally stable kid.”
Even if the reality show won't go there, don't expect that this is the last you've heard of Kylie, Tyga, Chyna, Khloe, Amber and the rest of this scandalous saga.
