The tragic saga of Bobbi Kristina Brown continued to get sadder today, as new details emerged about the circumstances that led to her medically-induced coma.
After Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious last week, reports indicated that the 21-year-old likely lost consciousness from drowning in her bathtub.
Police also initially reported that no drugs were found at the scene in her Georgia home, but now, newly revealed details tell a different story ...
Today, we learned that drugs were found in Brown's home, they simply weren't "out in the open," which led to the theory that Brown had been sober beforehand.
Hours later, the case took another bizarre turn.
TMZ reported that Max Lomas - one of the men who helped Bobbi's husband Nick Gordon revive her - was arrested for several drug-related offenses just weeks ago.
On January 14, cops swarmed Lomas' home after his girlfriend's family reported that he had drugged her and was holding her against her will.
The girlfriend insisted that she had not been drugged, but police found over 5 ounces of marijuana, as well Xanax and a gun, and arrested Lomas on possession and intent to distribute charges.
This may add a new wrinkle to the police investigation into Brown's accident, as friends and family of Bobbi Kristina's already suspected that she was associating with unsavory characters.
Lomas has been reported as Brown's ex by some sources, though it has not been confirmed whether or not the two had any romantic history together.
As for her husband, he is reportedly being blackballed by her family, and was estranged from Bobbi Kristina before her tragic near-drowning.
Sources say Gordon has been banned from visiting Brown, as her father and grandmother suspect him of being at least partly responsible for her current situation.
